  • 3rd Wednesday of the month the Plumbers Union members meeting is 5.00pm at Geelong Trades Hall.
  • Last Wednesday of the month at 12 noon the CFMEU shop stewards meet at the CFMEU office on Fyans St.
  • Every Thursday night at 6.00pm. Geelong Trades Hall Choir rehearsal. All members welcome. 127 Myers Street. Geelong.

Victory in this battle with many more to come

ABCC / DPP CHARGES AGAINST NOEL WASHINGTON DROPPED

The VTHC Mass Rally set down for 9.00 am Tuesday 2nd December 2008 and the march to the Melbourne Magistrates Court are called off. The ABCC initiated charges against senior CFMEU Vic Branch official, Noel Washington have been fully withdrawn. The VTHC BIG Unions have decided to call for a rally:outside the ABCC Melbourne Headquarters ( 553 St Kilda Rd) at 10.00 am Tuesday 2nd December 2008.
This rally has been called to celebrate the win for Noel Washington AND to continue the call for the immediate abolition of the ABCC.

A bus will leave Geelong Trades Hall, 127 Myers St. at 7.30pm.
