The next Geelong Trades Hall Council Delegate's meeting is 8th July. Noel Washington, Victorian CFMEU Vice President will address the meeting. Noel has recently been charged on summons for refusing to be interrogated by the Australian Building and Construction Commission. This anti-worker law that removes the civil right of remaining silent carries a six months gaol term and Noel is the first union official in Australian history to be charged for remaining silent.
All union delegates are reminded to attend this important Council meeting. This meeting will also be opened to all union members. The meeting will start at 7.00pm sharp.
