ABOUT OUR TRAINING

After consultation with women unionists we have developed a training proposal which aims to address the additional training needs raised by Geelong women unionists.

The Women Unionists Network aims to provide training options for women unionists to enable them to develop their skills and expertise to support and assist others in the workplace and the general community.

Access to this sort of training can be difficult in terms of time and is often unaffordable which therefore excludes working women.

Our training has been arranged out of work hours and is free of cost to women unionists.

We endeavour to provide a relaxed and supported environment to ensure that all participants feel welcome and comfortable to participate.

Our presenters are well skilled in their area of expertise and have very generously given their time free of cost.
